You’re Sixteen

Published on January 4, 2015

You’re Sixteen is a song written by Sherman Brothers, famous for their work in soundtracks such as Mary Poppins y _The Jungle Book. It was first performed in 1960 by Johnny Burnette. Ringo Starr recorded a new version in 1973.

I’m playing a Martin S1 soprano ukulele, dated 1950s or 60s; it’s strung with Worth Clear and tuned to D6. Harmony on my arrangement is based on Ringo Starr’s.

With this recording I launched my 52 videos project in 2015, which turned a failure for the most happy reasons.
