Ukulele, upright bass - Barcelona

Dinah

Published on November 1, 2020

Dinah is a popular song first published in 1925, with music by Harry Akst lyrics by Sam M. Lewis and Joe Young. Ethel Waters, The Revelers, Cliff Edwards, and Fletcher Henderson were among the first one to make it a success.

I made this arrangement for ukulele a couple of years ago, for the 2018 incarnation of Doctor Guapo Trio. One of my students asked me recently to learn this piece, so it was just time to record a solo performance and transcribe it.
