Ernest Ka'ai's works
Arranged for ukulele by Choan Gálvez
Ernest Ka’ai (1881–1962), considered by many to have been the foremost ukulele authority of his time, published a series of ukulele method books such as The Ukulele, A Hawaiian Guitar and How to Play It (1906, revisado en 1910) y The Ukulele and How It’s Played (1916).
Most of the pieces included in those books have been popularised in John King’s arangements included in his book Famous Solos & Duets for the ‘Ukulele. Hereby I present some of my own arrangements, created with didactic intentions.
