Low G tuning

Common on tenor ukuleles, the low G linear tuning shares chord shapes with the standard re-entrant tuning, but provides us with a wider register and more open chord sounds. Low to high meets ceiling to floor: G C E A.

If you’ve just got your first ukulele, you’ll most probably need to switch the fourth string (you can keep the rest of the set as is).
